Keep the Dozer Clean Keep the engine and work surfaces clean. When cleaning the radiator, shut down the dozer and allow to cool. After the engine is cool, antifreeze/coolant can be added to the radiator with the engine running. Do not fill the radiator with cold water or splash the radiator or engine with cold water when the engine is hot. Safety Precautions Antifreeze/coolant should always be used in the engine cooling system. Check for loose, broken, missing, or damaged parts. Perform maintenance items described under Service Intervals in the Service section of this Owner’s Manual.
